Why ISU Physiothearpy and Rehabilitation?

  • The department faculty consists of young members with valuable scientific productivity and training skills that have obtained their Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation doctorate degree from well-known universities such as Hacettepe University and İstanbul University. Our faculty members are specialized in Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Neurological and Rheumatological Rehabilitation and are currently expanding with new academicians who have specialized in other subspecialties of Physiotherapy.
  •
  • The training language of the department is Turkish. There is no preparatory English course. However, an English training program and professional/academic courses teaching English that are the equivalent of a preparatory English training course have been included in the 4-year undergraduate program. • It will be possible to provide internship opportunities for our students so that they can gain experience in various subspecialties of physiotherapy such as neurological rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, and pediatric rehabilitation, by using every opportunity; primarily the 25-year experience and established system of the Medical Park and Liv Hospital chains located at our university and secondarily contracted institutions providing physiotherapy services in various fields within the context of the department's curriculum. In addition to these, exercise counseling is provided at İstinye University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Application and Research Center (İSÜFİZYOTEM), which has been in service since January 2022 within our university. This enables our students to gain clinical experience in collaboration with our academicians.
